Hitting the High Notes of History and Harmony

The Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg, an international opera festival for young singers, was founded by composer Siegfried Matthus. Held every summer at the historic Schloss Rheinsberg in Brandenburg, Germany, this festival has been a cultural highlight since 1991. Located by Lake Grienerick, the festival attracts thousands of visitors with its opera productions and concerts. Since its inception, the Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg has hosted 28 singing competitions with over 10,000 participants, awarded 900 prizes, produced 82 stagings, and welcomed 380,000 visitors to experience its performances both in Rheinsberg and on tour.
